Each NISSAN LEAF vehicle has a warranty for the longevity, durability and high quality performance of the 40kWh lithium-ion batteries for up to 8 years or 160,000km (whichever occurs first).*

Also, NISSAN LEAF warranty for electric vehicle system is good for 5 years, or 100,000km (whichever occurs first).

Remark: The Lithium-ion Battery (Electric Vehicle Battery) is warranted against capacity loss below nine bars of capacity as shown on the vehicle’s battery capacity level gauge for a period of 8 years or 160,000 km (100,000 miles), whichever comes first. This warranty covers any repairs needed to return the battery capacity to a level of nine bars or above on the vehicle’s battery capacity level gauge.
