3 easy steps to check your tires by yourself
For safety in driving, you should check your tires regularly at least once a month or every time before a long trip. You can do it yourself at home or visit us at Nissan service centers nationwide.
1. Check tire pressure
2. Check tire tread depth
3. Check for cracks and damage of tire
Various damages that may occur to the tires.
Less than 4 mm. of tire tread
It may cause the car's balance resulting in less road adhesion and water evacuation and increased braking distance.
Damaged tire
For example, being stabbed by a nail, swollen from bumps, and so on, driving a car on imperfect tire condition can cause damage and risk of accidents.
Cracked tire
This can be caused by improper tire inflation, heavy loads, heat, and UV light, which can lead to a tire leak or explosion.
Swollen tires
The tire's sidewall is swollen from a strong impact, causing damage to the tire structure, reducing the bonding strength of the tire structure and possibly causing damage to the wheels.

- The tire surface touches the road surface equally
- Tires can work to their full potential.
- Less damage to the tire
Excessive tire pressure / Tire treads wear in the middle
- The middle area of the tire surface is too much contact with the road surface
- Shortened service life
