Nissan announces senior management change in ASEAN and Thailand
BANGKOK, Thailand (15 May 2026) – Nissan Motor (Thailand) today announced a senior management change in Thailand and ASEAN, effective 1 June 2026.
Koji Takahashi, currently General Manager in charge of Manufacturing Strategy Planning and Promotion Group at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in Japan, has been appointed Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, Nissan Thailand and ASEAN succeeding Masao Sumi, who will move to Japan to take on a new position as President of Nissan Motor Kyushu.
In his new role, Takahashi will oversee manufacturing and supply chain management operations in Thailand and ASEAN. He will report directly to Masao Tsutsumi, President of Nissan Thailand and ASEAN, with functional reporting to Yasuhiko Obata, Corporate Executive, Japan-ASEAN Manufacturing and SCM Operation Division, Global Operation Management.
Takahashi brings almost three decades of experience with Nissan and has held roles across production control, manufacturing strategy planning, supply chain management and global sales and operations, including overseas assignments in the United Kingdom and Mexico.
