Nissan Thailand Achieves Green Industry Level 4 Award from Thailand’s Ministry of Industry

Bangkok, Thailand (October 6, 2025) - Nissan Thailand proudly announces that its production facility in Samut Prakan has once again been awarded the Green Industry Level 4 (Green Culture) certification by Thailand’s Ministry of Industry. This marks the second time Nissan Thailand has received this prestigious recognition, following its first award in 2021. This recognition reflects the company’s continued efforts to embed environmental responsibility into its operations and workplace culture.

The Green Industry Level 4 certification is part of the Ministry’s initiative to promote sustainable industrial development. It is reviewed periodically and recognize organizations that successfully fostered a culture of environmental awareness among employees and consistently implement practices to reduce environmental impact.

Nissan Thailand has implemented a range of initiatives that promote environmental responsibility across its operations. These include the installation of solar rooftops to reduce energy consumption, waste sorting and recycling programs, water pollution control measures, and continuous improvement of production processes to minimize environmental impact.

The company also engages employee through environmental awareness activities, encourages cross-functional collaboration to embed sustainability into daily operations, and supports community outreach programs focused on environmental education. These efforts reflect Nissan’s commitment to responsible manufacturing and its role in supporting Thailand’s sustainable development goals.
