Nissan Navara with new interior design enhances driving experience with more premium and sporty

BANGKOK, Thailand (15 August 2024) - Nissan introduce the upgraded Navara which has arrived in style, ready to bring customers experience to a new level with sportier and more premium with new interior design together with a new EURO 5-standard engine that helps reduce emission.  Navara’s bold appearance and DNA of durability and the full features that enable drivers to live for the fullest in this upgraded version.

Together with the launch of the upgraded Navara, Nissan has launched an exciting marketing communication campaign featuring Tawanchai P.K. Saenchaimuaythaigym, rising star World’s Muay Thai Featherweight class champion boxer, in order to represent Navara’s DNA of “Ton-Prom-Lui” or durability, utility & technology, and driving performance. A new theme song written by famous singer “Songkran The Voice”, will also bring the excitement to the max and effectively enhance brand awareness.

Compelling new interior design, enhanced comfort

Navara’s interior styling has been intensified with the new design of the instrument panel that gives the entire cabin a more modern, premium and sportier styling with luxury accent. The new 9-inch Audio Display touch screen and high-quality soft-touch materials significantly redefine the interior of all high-lifted models.  

The upgraded Nissan Navara continues to offer high level of comfort and convenience of its predecessor that cater to modern driver’s lifestyle. Such features are USB charging ports for uninterrupted connection, ample storages for more conveniences to keep things tidy and ready to use, the front and side windows with Acoustic Glass that reduce outside noise coming into the cabin, and automatic front air conditioning system that allows individual to adjust temperature to their preference.  

The 8-way power seats in the PRO-4X and PRO-2X enable drivers to easily adjust seat position at their fingertips. The ergonomic zero gravity front seats efficiently support the driver and front passengers, reducing fatigue on long journey. Meanwhile, the premium Quole Modure seats in both PROs version and Calibre family prevent heat from accumulation, providing greater comfort for drivers even in long journeys.

To cater to modern drivers’ lifestyle, NissanConnect, the intelligent infotainment system provides impressive experience with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto*, enabling drivers and passengers to use mobile applications, navigation system via the vehicle’s smart audio system with voice recognition function. Powerful engine unleashes the best performance, cleaner with EURO 5 standard

Nissan Navara’s 2.3-liter, 4-cylinder, DOHC twin-turbocharged YS23DDTT engine gives it ample power to take the driver anywhere and enjoy any challenges on their journey. The engine produces maximum power of 190 hp (Ps) and 450 Nm of torque (Nm), a 7-speed automatic transmission (7AT) with manual driving mode (M mode) for enhanced driving performance and better fuel economy, that runs on all types of diesel fuel (B7, B10, and B20).

Meeting with the EURO 5 standard, Nissan Navara has a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) that efficiently reduces particulate while continuing to deliver high responsiveness and fuel efficiency.

Meanwhile, the Nissan Navara Double Cab, King Cab and Single Cab with 6-speed manual transmission (6MT) come with a 2.3-liter, 4-cylinder, DOHC VGS turbocharged YS23DDT engine offering maximum power of 160 hp (Ps) and 403 Nm of torque (Nm).

Impressive durability and payload

Continuing its DNA of durability, the Nissan Navara is built on its famous single piece of steel frame chassis, providing excellent payload capabilities. Other features offering usability and versatility include an integrated step in the rear bumper that makes bed access easier, and a flap-type, tie-down hook that helps secure both large and small loads. The side step in the Single Cab also increases convenience for loading and unloading.

Well protected with superior safety features

Nissan Navara continues to offer high level of safety. The 360° Safety Shield technology increases confidence and safety for all journeys.

Advanced safety package includes the Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW) automatically alarms when possible front collision is predicted then the Intelligent Emergency Braking (IEB) will help reduce the speed and brake to prevent possible front collision. The Lane Departure Warning (LDW) alerts drivers when they leave the lane without turning signal is on, then the Intelligent Lane Intervention (ILI) will intervene by applying brake force and steering the car right back into the lane. To assist drivers while changing lane, the Blind Spot Warning (BSW) will notify the driver of the approaching vehicle in the blind spot while Intelligent Blind Spot Intervention (IBSI) will activate the brake to smoothly slow down the car and bring the car back on track. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) helps avoiding collisions with rearward approaching vehicles when reversing. High Beam Assist (HBA), meanwhile, automatically switches the headlights setting to low beam from high beam when it detects a vehicle ahead. Other standard safety features are, to name a few, seven SRS airbags, Active Brake Limited Slip (ABLS), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Hill Descent Control (HDC) and Intelligent Driver Alertness (IDA).
