Nissan Almera Model Year 24 enhances customer experience with upgraded comfort features

BANGKOK, THAILAND (8 July 2024) – Nissan has enhanced customer experience in its Nissan Almera Model Year 24 by adding the premium Quole Modure seats that effectively reflects the heat out and keep the drivers and passenger comfortable on any journey for V grade and increasing convenience and safety with the intelligent key with auto lock and unlock feature in V and VL grade.

Always connect with your car through NissanConnect Services

NissanConnect Services* application brings easy communication between the drivers and the Nissan Almera. Integrated in this app is the first-in-class SOS button in the car that brings instant contact from Nissan’s emergency support center through the in-car audio system. The driver can remotely start the engine and switch on the air-conditioning system and easily access to remote door lock, remote horn, and lights, and My Car Finder.

This intelligent application also keeps the drivers informed of their vehicle status, such as maintenance schedule, travel distance, and warns when the driving speed exceeds the limit or something went wrong with the car. When the theft alarm is activated or when the car travels out of the specified area, the application will also alert the owner immediately, enabling the driver to take necessary action and keep track of the vehicle. 

Quole Modure seats, intelligent key with auto lock and unlock, and full functions offer “All you need” 

The Nissan Almera MY24 is packed with a wide range of comfort features designed to keep modern drivers and passengers relaxed and entertained after a few hours of travel.

Quole Modure seats are offered in V and VL grades. This innovative material helps reduce accumulated heat, increasing comfort for the driver and passengers throughout the journey.

In enhancing customers’ safety and convenience, intelligent key with auto lock and unlock feature is added to the Nissan Almera MY24. Drivers can simply park the car and walk away while Nissan’s intelligent technology automatically locks the vehicle for them. When the driver approaches the car, the intelligent key will activate auto door unlock for convenience and security.

Key functions and utilities that make Almera popular remain in this MY24 version – the spacious passenger cabin, ample knee space for both the front and rear seats, the prefect balance of cabin and trunk spaces, wireless charger**, and cruise control. The latest upgraded infotainment system, the NissanConnect supports smartphone connectivity via both Android Auto** and Apple CarPlay; the navigation system via application, i.e., Google Map on its 8-inch touchscreen display audio system; and voice recognition system.

On the exterior, the Nissan Almera MY24 expresses a bold look given by the enhanced V-Motion that reflects next generation appearance, the new brand logo, the hood, the roof line, and the rear that have intensified the forward movement look and feel. On the interior, the gliding wing-shape decoration in sporty blue color on the console and stylish bluish trim on the door panels add a more modern & sportier look to the passenger cabin.

Driving “At the Speed You Want”
On any road condition, Nissan’s unique HRA0 1.0-litre turbo engine ensures drivers of responsiveness, power, and confidence when overtaking. The engine produces a maximum power of 100 horsepower (Ps) and torque of 152 Nm, providing strong and fast acceleration from continuous torque (flat torque). While allowing drivers to enjoy “the speed you want”, the engine includes an Idling Stop feature that can automatically cut off the engine to save more fuel. This enables the New Almera’s fuel efficiency to reach a maximum level of 23.3 km/liter***.

Confident overtaking on highways is enhanced thanks to the XTRONIC CVT transmission system. The innovative D-Step Logic not only gives smooth gear changes but also provide instant acceleration.

A number of technical innovations derived from the iconic Nissan GT-R technology have enabled the Nissan Almera MY24 to improve heat management and combustion provided by the bore spray coating that helps reduce cylinder friction and weight.

Safer journeys with class-leading technology and the 360° SAFETY SHIELD
With a comprehensive package of advanced safety features, the Nissan Almera MY24gives full peace of mind when driving anywhere. The newly launched compact sedan comes with features previously only available in premium class: the first-in-class Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) that shows air pressure inside each tire and alerts driver when air pressure does not meet requirement, High Beam Assist (HBA) that automatically switches the headlights setting to low beam from high beam when it detects a vehicle ahead; and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) that notifies the driver when they begin to leave the lane in which they are traveling. 

Nissan’s 360° SAFETY SHIELD continues to provide full protection. The advanced safety features include Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) that warns the driver of an approaching car or object from the rear and side during reverse parking, Intelligent Around View Monitoring (IAVM), Moving Object Detection (MOD), Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (IFCW), Blind Spot Warning (BSW), and Hill Start Assist (HSA). Included in the package is the full range of advanced protection technologies, namely Pretensioner and Load Limiter Seatbelts, six SRS airbags for all vehicle grades, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) that keeps the vehicle stable in all conditions for precise turning, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), and Brake Assist (BA) systems.

The Nissan Almera MY24 is available in four grades: E, EL, V and VL and both monotone colors**** -- Storm White, Black Star and Gun Metallic (all grades), Radiant Red and Night Blue (VL, V, EL), and Gray Sky Pearl (V and VL); and two-tone colors (only for VL grade) -- Gray Sky Pearl with Black Roof, Gun Metallic with Black Roof, and Storm White with Black Roof.
