Nissan supports skills development at Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University and the Royal Thai Navy

Bangkok Thailand - In its ongoing effort to support skills development of students and valued government agencies through research and practical training, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. – led by Mr. Peter Galli (left), Vice President, Communications – delivered a CVT and other automobile parts to Dr. Weerayute  Sudsomboon (right), Faculty of Industrial Technology, Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University; and Captain Ukrit Thaochalee (middle), Chief Planning Management, Vehicle Workshop Division, Naval Transportation Department, Royal Thai Navy, at the Nissan Education and Training Center in Bangna KM.22. The donation is part of Nissan’s ongoing collaboration with Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University and the Royal Thai Navy’s Engineering Corps, to help foster technical skill development and practical training.

In addition to the donation, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has carried out engineering training for soldiers in Royal Thai Navy for three years, including around vehicle electric systems, helping enhance the skills of trained military personnel.

Earlier this month, Nissan delivered a prototype Nissan Evalia to help students in the Faculty of Industrial Technology at Nakhon Si Thammarat Rajabhat University gain a better understanding of vehicle engineering and vehicle technology through the study of modern day vehicle components. This will also help them bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical real-world environment to better prepare them to become qualified engineers and skilled technicians in the near future. Nissan also donated a Nissan Navara several years ago.
