Simon Woollard

BANGKOK (Feb 11, 2019) – Nissan announces the appointment of Simon Woollard as the regional vice president, human resources for Nissan Asia & Oceania, effective since January 01 2019. In his new role, Simon reports to Yutaka Sanada, regional senior vice president for Nissan Asia & Oceania and Mark Stout Corporate Vice President, Nissan Global Human Resources.

In his new role, Simon will be responsible for development of talent acquisition and people advancement across the Asia & Oceania region, to maximize Nissan's overall performance. Prior to this new position, Simon was leading the Talent Management, Acquisition and Learning and Development teams in Nissan Europe, based in Paris. He also brings with him a deep knowledge of the Asia & Oceania region, as HR Director for Nissan Australia and New Zealand and prior to that held HR Leadership positions in China, Taiwan and Thailand during his tenure at Ford, Asia Pacific and Africa.

Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Simon has been at Nissan for six years, and has a Bachelor of Applied Science and Post Grad Diploma in Professional Psychology from the University of Ballarat, Melbourne.
