Bangkok, Thailand (05 July, 2021) – Many of us miss traveling on long, beautiful trips filled with delicious foods, but due to the current situation we all need to stay safe at home and limit the places we visit. So to help people feel as if they are #เที่ยวทิพย์กันสักนิส,  NISSAN KICKs e-POWER, the innovative car that gives the benefits of EV driving with convenience of a fuel tank, will be your guide and take you all on an “imaginary trip” to safely explore Thai local cuisines from all four regions.

Through six different restaurants in Bangkok, you can order delivery to eat at home which not only helps support restaurants, but we guarantee that this delicious food will definitely make you feel as though you are on a real trip across Thailand!

1.   Ong Tong Khao Soi

Recommended on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list (restaurants that offer great food at reasonable prices) for three years in a row, ‘Ong Tong Khao Soi’ serves flavorful Northern cuisine from recipes that the Chiang Mai-born owner inherited from his grandmother. The first branch opened in Ari in 2017, and it quickly gained fame for its ‘Khao Soi’  signature dish. In addition, the restaurant also serves another original signature dish called ‘Khao Soi Kua Haeng’ (Dry roasted Khao Soi). For Northern food addicts, it also offers Sai Oua, Larb Kua, Fried Pork with Nam Phrik Num, Pou Ong, Hang Lay Curry, Nam Prik Ong, and Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao. And now if you want to cook some Northern delights at home, they sell Sai Oua, and Nam Phrik Num in vacuum packs and jars.

DaraDalay

2. DaraDalay @BKK

Another delightful Northern restaurant is Daradalay @BKK. At the DaraDalay @BKK branch, all organic ingredients used are delivered directly from Chiang Dao. What makes the food taste so good is the owner’s intention to use only the best ingredients, like when she cooks for her family. Nissan recommends Khantoke Mini Larb with Roasted Pork, Nam Phrik Num, Khao Soi Gai and Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao. Moreover, the restaurant also donated lunch boxes to support hospital and healthcare officers during Covid-19 crisis, so if anyone is interested to order Northern food for donation as well as to eat at home, you can contact the shop as well.

The restaurant also serves big-fat grilled River Prawns so there is no need to head to Ayutthaya, because you can enjoy eating them at home!
