BANGKOK, Thailand (17 December 2019) – Nissan in Thailand recently won the award for 'Outstanding Brand Image for Good Governance’ at the Thailand Automotive Quality Awards (TAQA).

Presented at an event held during the 36th Thailand International Motor Expo at Impact Muang Thong Thani, the 'Outstanding Brand Image for Good Governance' award reflects Nissan in Thailand’s strength in corporate governance and its commitment to operational excellence under its mid-term MOVE 2020 plan.

The award results are based on phone surveys of more than 5,000 vehicle users across Thailand, which included all leading auto brands and vehicle nameplates. This was the 18th year the award event was held by Thailand Automotive Institute (TAI), Inter Media Co., Manager Media Group and Custom Asia Co.

This TAQA award follows three others that Nissan has received this year, including two Car of the Year Awards for the Nissan Navara EL 7AT Black Edition as Best High-Lift Pickup Under 2,500 cc and for the Nissan Terra 2.3 VL 7AT as the Best PPV Diesel 2WD Under 2,500 cc, as well as a BIG Best Car Award for the Nissan Terra as the best seven-seater PPV 4WD
