The collaboration provides Terra SUVs and Urvan vehicles to support restart of the 2020 Thai Premier League season
BANGKOK, Thailand (August 25, 2020) – Nissan has strengthened its partnership with Muangthong United F.C. (MTUTD), and will provide Nissan Terra SUVs and Urvan vehicles to the football side to show the company’s support for the restart of the 2020 Thai Premier League season.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the season was suspended in March for player and fan safety. It is now scheduled to resume in September and end in May 2021, so to ensure safety of the footballers, trainers and club staff Nissan has donated seven Nissan Terra and two Nissan Urvans for safe and socially distance transport for the whole season.

“The passion found in football, in Thailand and around the world, is indicative of the passion Nissan brings to our vehicles. For Nissan football fans, there will also be additional football related activities arranged with Nissan dealers so our customers can enjoy added benefits from this partnership that we will communicate through both online and off-line channels,” said Adisai Sirisinha, Nissan's vice president for marketing in Thailand.
