First Nissan Retail Concept showroom Northeast Thailand open for customers
Nissan Nat Autocar Ban Chan first dealership to serve Nissan LEAF customers in Udon Thani Province
UDON THANI, Thailand (30 January 2019) – Nissan Nat Autocar Ban Chan recently opened a new showroom and service center located in Ban Chan, Udon Thani. It is the first showroom under the Nissan Retail Concept (NRC) in the Northeastern region of Thailand. It is also first Nissan Electric Vehicle (EV) dealerships in northeastern Thailand appointed to market the Nissan LEAF – the world’s best-selling mass-market full Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) coming to Thailand later this year.
Nissan is implementing Nissan Retail Concept across its dealer network in Thailand. It aims to improve all aspects of the customer experience, including facility design, service processes and the digital environment. More than 400 dealerships in 30 countries have already made the change. Nissan aims to implement NRC at more than 9,000 dealerships in more than 170 countries by the end of fiscal year 2022.
“The Nissan Retail Concept is our response to an ever-changing business environment, and represents Nissan’s commitment to providing customers with globally consistent high quality dealership experience – from sales to service – so to exceed their expectations,” said Antoine Barthes, president of Nissan Motor Thailand, at the recent opening event.
As a Nissan EV Dealer, the facility will service Nissan LEAFs and provide EV chargers for customer use. This means that Nissan LEAF customers here will now have access to professionally trained services and charging facilities tailored specifically for them ahead of the arrival of the vehicle in late April.
“Nissan Nat Autocar Ban Chan showroom has two charging stations that any Nissan LEAF owner can use for free, enjoying coffee and snack in the lounge while their car battery recharge. We are ready to welcome EV customers with salespeople trained to be Nissan LEAF specialists,” Wichai Fueangtaweechoke, president of Nat Autocar added.
Udon Thani Governor Wattana Puthichart and Nat Autocar President Wichai Fueangtaweechoke joined Barthes at the official VIP opening ceremony. The new facility is Nat Autocar’s second showroom and service center.
