Nissan receives ‘Outstanding Bubble and Seal measure in workplace Award‘ from the Ministry of Public Health
The representative of Nissan Thailand, Mr. Vorachai Pongsanunt, General Manager, Security, received the Outstanding Bubble and Seal measure in workplace Award by Dr.Kiatphum Wongrajit, Permanent Secretary of Public Health
BANGKOK, Thailand (August 9, 2022) - Nissan Thailand has received ‘Bubble and Seal measure in workplace Award’ for outstanding level, which was awarded by Dr.Kiatphum Wongrajit, Permanent Secretary of Public Health.
The Bubble and Seal Award for the model enterprise was organized by the Ministry of Public Health to support and encourage the association that operates under surveillance, prevention, and control measures of COVID-19 in the workplace. As regards the award, more than 2,000 factories in Thailand have implemented the Bubble and Seal project. Moreover, Nissan Thailand has become one of 35 organizations across the country that have been awarded the outstanding level. Nissan has received this award by virtue of ‘NISSAN CARE FOR YOU’ campaign that organizes activities and measures to support all Nissan employees during the COVID -19 pandemic.

Nissan Motor Thailand is willing to support both the public and private sectors to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 in Thai society under the 'NISSAN CARE FOR YOU' campaign. The ‘NISSAN CARE FOR YOU’ campaign was initiated in March 2020, bringing a range of measures and resources designed to support employees and the Thai public and to ensure their continued safety during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Nissan opened the Factory Accommodation Isolation (FAI) in October 2021, under area-specific preventive and control measures which Samut Prakan Provincial Public Health Office has regularly visited and evaluated, following the Ministry of Public Health’s safety measures for organizations. This led Nissan to achieve the Thai Stop Covid and Thai Stop Covid 2Plus certification last April. Moreover, Nissan Thailand has supported equipment and medical supplies to the Public Health Office of Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province in July. The Public Health Office and Nissan Thailand also support Thai society in preventing and controlling COVID-19 by providing vaccinations to over 5,000 Nissan employees.
On July 1, 2022, the representatives of Nissan Thailand Group, Mr. Akkarapol Kaewpinit, MD of Manufacturing provided the vaccine refrigerator to Dr. Naresrit Kadthasima, Samut Sakhon Provincial Public Health Officer, the representative from the Public Health of Bang Sao Thong District, Samut Prakan Province.
