As interest in electri vehicle policy continues to grow in Thailand, Nissan Leaf is part of  Thailand Automotive Institute’s EV Technology and Innovation Learning Center to further develop R&D and learning source for SME and manufacturers of EV’s parts in Thailand.

In a recent ceremony Piengjai Keawsuwan, Vice President, Government Relations at Nissan Motor Thailand handed over a Nissan Leaf to Dr.Somchai Harnhirun, Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Industry on the occasion of the opening of EV Technology and Innovation Learning Center at Thailand Automotive Institute.

Nissan is an EV  technology leader, one of its landmark Nissan Intelligent Mobility solutions. With increasing concerns about air quality and the environment, Nissan EV is essential to a smart, clean and sustainable driving future, without compromising affordability or driving pleasure.

Nissan brought the world's first mass-produced EV “Nissan LEAF” to the market in 2010. The Nissan LEAF is not only a Zero-Emission car but also an EV with unprecedented quietness, acceleration and handling. Since its launch, this electric vehicle has become the best-selling EV in the world, more than 277,000 Nissan LEAF have been sold to-date.
