"Care for You" initiative in Thailand to support customers impacted by COVID-19
Program designed to offer customers creative vehicle test drive options, vehicle pickup services, and helpful promotions
Bangkok, 15 April 2020 – Nissan in Thailand has launched its ‘Care for You’ initiative to support customers and ensure their continued safety during the current COVID-19 pandemic.
The plan offers current and future customers safe and convenient vehicle test drive options, vehicle pickup services, and beneficial promotions at dealers and service centers.
“The safety and well-being of all our valued customers, employees and communities is our top priority. Our goal is to ensure that current and future customers have the support they need, while ensuring our dealer partners can sustain their business during these difficult times,” said Ramesh Narasimhan, president of Nissan in Thailand.
There are three key components of Nissan’s ‘Care for You’ initiative:
1. Care for You: Drive at Your Home offers prospective Nissan car buyers an option to test-drive selected models (Nissan Note, Nissan Almera, and Nissan Navara) from the comfort of their own homes. Interested people can follow simple steps to register for a test drive through Nissan website or Nissan Facebook page. Once confirmed, the vehicle of their choice is carefully disinfected for maximum safety, and is delivered to their home so they can have the most convenient and safe test drive.
2. Care for You: Aftersales Service introduces convenient on-site and vehicle pickup services for periodical maintenance for Nissan customers. These customer-focused aftersales services reassure customers that their vehicles will receive scheduled maintenance without the need to leave their homes. Also, all service customers will receive fabric masks to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Nissan is also taking additional steps to implement several key preventive measures for COVID-19 at Nissan showrooms and service centers across the country. These include disinfecting the service center every 30 minutes; temperature checking all employees and customers when they enter the dealership; ensuring that staff wear face masks at all times; providing alcohol gel throughout the premises; and consistently disinfecting key vehicle touchpoints like the steering wheel, gear shift, seats, door handles, and front console panels.
3. Care for You: Promotion makes owning the Nissan vehicle customers love and want easier than ever by providing worry-free payment options including waiving three months of installment payments and then allowing a payment of just 50% of the installment for up to nine months. Participating Nissan customers who buy an all-new Nissan Almera, Nissan Note, Nissan March, Nissan Navara, Nissan X-Trail or Nissan Terra during the campaign that runs from 1 – 30 April 2020, will also receive a year of comprehensive Type 1 car vehicle insurance coverage.
