BANGKOK, Thailand (July 31, 2020) – Nissan in Thailand proudly announces the official start of production of the all-new KICKS e-POWER for Thailand, and is delivering the first vehicles to Thai customers. The news delivered as Thailand, the first country outside Japan to produce Nissan's e-POWER technology domestically consolidates its importance as the regional manufacturing hub for Nissan in Asia & Oceania.

“Seeing the first all-new Nissan KICKS e-POWER vehicle come off the manufacturing line for Thailand is an inspiring moment. More than 5,000 Nissan in Thailand manufacturing employees are involved in producing the all-new Nissan KICKS e-POWER. The workforce is well trained to meet world-class manufacturing standards using the latest technologies that, along with the support of Thai dealers and suppliers, will help drive the success of the Nissan KICKS e-POWER in the competitive compact SUV segment.

With the model’s contemporary design, robust performance and best-in-class Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, the all-new Nissan KICKS e-POWER represents the next level of Nissan innovation in the Asia and Oceania region.

The Thailand production operations are one of Nissan’s hubs for exports to both Japan and key ASEAN markets. Nissan in Thailand uses the most stringent quality assessment standards to ensure that the build quality for vehicles manufactured in Thailand are certified equal to Japan. To support new production, Nissan has invested heavily in advanced automation technology for quality control processes.

Interested customers can reserve their all-new Nissan KICKS e-POWER starting from 889,000 THB, and will receive a vehicle warranty for the longevity, durability, and high-quality performance of its lithium-ion batteries for up to 10 years and for the electric system of up to five years. The all-new Nissan KICKS e-POWER vehicle warranty is for three years, or 100,000 kilometers, whichever occurs first.

The all-new Nissan KICKS e-POWER is now available to test drive and customers can contact their nearest Nissan dealer to schedule their session. Customers can check for promotional details at their local Nissan dealers nationwide or on the Nissan Motor Thailand website
