Nissan Reveals Regional Winning Teams of the "NISSAN e-POWER Challenge 2024" at Motor Expo 2024
Bangkok, Thailand (18 December 2024) – Nissan Motor Thailand thrilled visitors at Motor Expo 2024 on December 5, 2024, with an award ceremony honoring six finalist student teams from across Thailand in the "NISSAN e-POWER Challenge 2024". The ceremony marks a significant milestone of the project, each winning team was awarded a prize of 20,000 baht and the opportunity to participate in a special workshop in preparation for the final competition, set to take place in 2025.
The Nissan e-POWER Challenge 2024 project, themed "The One and Only", aims to enhance the marketing and content creation potential among higher education youth. Participants were assigned with presenting marketing plans on the topic "e-POWER…YES! For Any Lifestyle" with a video clip not exceeding one minute. In the initial phase of the project, Nissan trainers and special guest lecturer - Veerayuth Lorthongpanich, Co-Founder & MD of Wink Wink Production, a leading Thai advertising producer, traveled across the country to provide guidance and knowledge to top educational institutions. In this phase, five finalist teams were selected from different regions, along with one team winning the NISSAN e-Power Popular View award for achieving the highest number of online views, bringing the total to six finalist teams.
During the Motor Expo 2024, Nissan awarded the six selected teams with a cash prize of 20,000 baht each and opportunity to participate in a three-day, two-night workshop in Bangkok. The workshop will facilitate knowledge exchange and pave the way for the next competition round, which will require teams to create content based on a new challenge set by Nissan. The content will be published on social media channels, and teams will also submit marketing plans for evaluation by the judging committee. The ultimate prize includes scholarships and an opportunity to visit Japan, with a total value of over 800,000 baht. The final winning team will be announced and awarded during the Bangkok International Motor Show 2025 in March 2025.

Ms. Suphamas Imrang and Mr. Jempol Suwanpratheep from Naresuan University, representing the northern region's winning team, shared their feelings: "We are honored to receive the award as representatives from the northern region. This project has given us opportunities and wonderful experiences that not only allow us to showcase our abilities and unleash our creativity but also learn from real marketing experts in the industry. We have exciting ideas lined up for the next round and hope everyone will cheer us on!"
