Nissan Skill Contest 2023, an annual event offering an opportunity to Nissan’s employees and the staff to demonstrate their skills and compete for annual awards and recognition.
BANGKOK, THAILAND (5 March 2024) – Nissan Thailand recently held the Nissan Skill Contest 2023, an annual event offering an opportunity to Nissan’s employees and the staff of its dealers in the service, sales, and parts categories to demonstrate their skills and compete for annual awards and recognition. The event underlines Nissan Thailand’s strong commitment to enhancing customer satisfaction across all touch points.
Nissan Skill Contest is an annual activity that has been held for the past 12 consecutive years. The competition is designed to encourage its employees and staff members to continuously improve their knowledge and skills, and strengthen Nissan’s relationship with dealers nationwide. The event also emphasizes Nissan’s customer-centric approach and its desire to support dealer development.
Masao Tsutsumi, Vice President for Marketing, Sales, After-sales, and Dealer Network Development, Nissan Motor Thailand, said, “Nissan Thailand congratulates the winners and all the participants in the Nissan Skill Contest. This activity is a platform that invites all staff to practice and demonstrate their capabilities. We have observed that many participants who joined us last year have come back to compete in a different category this year. This clearly shows their commitment to continuously improve themselves and learn new things. We very much appreciate their ongoing development and thank them for joining us this year. We hope this will enable us to deliver a better experience to our customers in the future.”
The competition comprises eight categories according to the nature of work, namely sales consultants, service advisors, CRO-sales and service, parts consultants, diagnostic technicians, and sales and service managers. This year, 1,300 people from Nissan and its dealerships nationwide participated in the competition, with 73 making it to the final round.
The winners are:
1. CRO-Sales – Ms Jeeranan Promchan, Siam Nissan Rama II Headquarters
2. Service advisor – Ms Kamolwan Panchabut, Siam Nissan Chonburi, Pattaya
3. Sales consultant – Mr Somsak Chalermtaranukul, Siam Nissan Sales – Punnavithi
4. Parts consultant – Mr Thanawit Pittyawong-anon, Siam Nissan Krungthai Headquarters
5. Sales manager - Mr Somsak Chalermtaranukul, Siam Nissan Sales – Punnavithi
6. Parts consultant – Mr Puwanai Thapcharoen, Siam Nissan Chiang Mai – Lamphun
7. Service manager – Ms Benchaporn Limtiamrat, Chor Erawan Motor Nakhon Pathom, Headquarters
8. Service advisor – Mr Chaturong Chaikaew, Siam Nissan Chiang Mai Headquarters
9. Diagnostic technician – Mr Nattakorn Boonmark, Siam Nissan Chonburi – Sriracha
This year, two Super Champ Awards were presented to Siam Nissan Chiang Mai and Siam Nissan Chonburi for twice winning the competition. They were rewarded with trophies from Nissan.
Chaturong Chaikaew, Siam Nissan Chiang Mai Headquarters, the winner of Service Advisor category for two consecutive years, said, “I am so proud. I have to thank Nissan Chiang Mai for their support and for allowing me to participate in this competition. I won a major award last year and wanted to maintain my position this year. It was quite a tough job and required a lot of discipline and a strong will to continue my self-development. I believe that with a strong commitment, anyone can repeat their success and be the champion for several years.”
