NISSAN APPOINTS EKKARAT BOSAKARANUT AS VICE PRESIDENT FOR SALES IN THAILAND

Bangkok, 20 July 2020 - Nissan has announced the appointment of Ekkarat Bosakaranut as vice president for sales in Thailand. In this new role, he will report to Ramesh Narasimhan, president of Nissan in Thailand.  

In his new role, effective since 1st July, 2020,  Ekkarat will be responsible for driving the efficiency of national sales operations and commercial performance, to optimize sustainable growth. Furthermore, to expand potential vehicle market-share for Nissan in Thailand. He will oversee national sales strategies, operations and programming of Nissan passenger vehicles, light commercial vehicles, electric vehicles, used vehicles, and corporate fleets.

Ekkarat has more than 16 years of automotive sales experience. He joined Nissan in Thailand as general manager of sales in 2017. Prior to that he has held several positions at leading automotive companies, including both car, bus and truck manufacturers.

Ekkarat holds a MBA from Ramkhamhaeng University, and a Bachelor degree in business administration from Thammasart University. He replaces Ratthakarn Jutasen, who has pursued other opportunities outside of Nissan.
