BANGKOK, Thailand (20 September 2021) – Nissan Thailand has allowed to delay its vehicle warranty and periodic maintenance policies during the COVID-19 pandemic, to help customers. The extension is aimed at reducing anxiety for customers, and updating parameters due to reduced travel during the pandemic. Nissan is aware of the impact on Nissan customers. Car usage has decreased to strictly comply with disease prevention measures. Accordingly, Nissan has applied urgent measures for warranty and maintenance, to relieve customer stress. The key details are:

  • If a customer is not able to bring the vehicle for maintenance services in the specified period, during the government's announcement of travel restrictions, they will be permitted to delay service for the specified period of three months or three thousand kilometers, whichever comes first.*
  • If a customer cannot undertake vehicle periodic maintenance, due to the government's travel restrictions, the company allow the warranty to be retained.**
