New Nissan Navara inspires safe imaginary trips to increase happiness to Thais

Bangkok, Thailand (May 21, 2021) During this tough period with increased COVID-19 cases, Nissan Thailand shares Thais some virtual travel-planning inspiration to stay safe and strong with ‘imaginary Travel’ photo backgrounds. Inspired by New Nissan Navara, the backgrounds were created based on research that planning a future trip is proven to increase a person’s happiness substantially, according to a Cornell University Study[1]. Whereas, University of Surrey research, found that people are at their happiest when they have a vacation planned[2]

We have made the locations based on the extreme places the New Nissan Navara can take people and hope everyone will stay safe and care for each other at this time.”

The new Nissan Navara virtual backgrounds have four locations, and four future trips for you to choose in your desired style:

1^st Trip: Nissan Navara’s guide to Thailand’s best star gazing. Fascinated by seeing the stars at night?  Then you can plan to visit the northern provinces of Thailand during October and November for the locations that give for best visibility of the Milky Way glittering in the night sky.^[1] Recommended places include Doi Samer Dao in Nan Province, Phu Chi Fa, Chiang Rai Province and Pang Ung, Mae Hong Son Province. The best star viewing is usually far from cities, so a pickup truck is perfect for this future journey, to find the most remote spots. In the back of your pickup, add some blankets and food and have a star-gazing picnic under the moon. More importantly, don't forget to check the Milky Way time schedule in advance, so that you will not miss seeing the beautiful large barred spiral galaxy.

2^nd Trip: Nissan Navara invites you to chill on the beach. After staying home for a while, some people may crave ‘vitamin sea.’ Imagine sitting on the beach, looking up at the sunny sky and relaxing! You can plan to visit popular beaches in Chonburi province, Hua Hin beach in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Or if you have more time, go on a longer road trip, and visit a wonderful island, such as Ko Chang in Trat province, or the beautiful beaches in the southern of Thailand like Patong beach in Phuket province. Just choose the destination that you desire, and enjoy the sun, surf and sea.

Build a campfire, make coffee, sleep in a tent, and spend simple and soulful time with friends and family.
