BANGKOK, Thailand (June 26, 2019) – FAST Auto Show Thailand 2019 attendees will be able to test drive the world’s best-selling electric vehicle (EV), the all-new Nissan LEAF, and learn more about electrification and the realm of Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies.

Starting today at BITEC and running until 30 June, attendees can visit the ‘LEAF Education’ zone at the Nissan booth, EH105-106, and have the opportunity to ask questions and find out why the future of electrification in Thailand has the potential to position the country as a leader in Southeast Asia.

The educational zone includes a Nissan e-PEDAL simulator, a core Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM) feature which allows drivers to use just one pedal for acceleration and braking in the all-new LEAF. Customers are also invited to get behind the wheel of the all-new full-battery Nissan LEAF to be able to test drive the  EV and experience the silence and powerful acceleration of the stylish icon of NIM.

“The all-new LEAF is built on Nissan’s more than 70-years experience in the electric vehicle space, starting in 1947 with the Tama, Nissan’s first EV model. Nissan is a global leader in EV technology with unmatched length, breadth, and depth of experience. We are enthusiastic to share this with our Thai fans,” said Peter Galli, Nissan's vice president for Communications in Thailand.

At the Nissan booth, visitors can have a fully immersive and highly educational EV experience including a complimentary ride in the all-new Nissan LEAF as it acts as an EV-shuttle to deliver people from BITEC to Bangna BTS station

In addition to the all-new LEAF, customers can also book test drives of popular Nissan's cars, including the smart, sporty new Nissan X-Trail SUV, the Nissan Note, Almera, and the new Nissan Terra, a frame-based intelligent SUV, at the booth, Galli added.

Customers can also take advantage of the many show deals to enjoy additional savings and other value-added extras. These include ‘Smart Choice’ promotions with free ‘Nissan Premium Protection' first-class insurance for one-year.  This is exclusively available for customers who book and take delivery of a Nissan Navara, X-Trail, Terra, Note, March, Almera, Sylphy, and Teana by 30 June 2019.

Visitors to Nissan’s booth are also invited to take a look at the new black edition Nissan Navara pickup and the GT-R, and then to strap into the GT-R pod and 'test drive' this super sports car in a virtual reality environment, on a first-come, first served basis.
