(Bangkok, August 9, 2017): Nissan has been doing business in Thailand since 1952 and our commitment to the country and its people is unwavering. In response to the floods in the North and Northeastern provinces of Thailand, the company has initiated flood relief efforts to help Thai people recover from the disaster.

These include:

  • Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently handed over a donation of THB 300,000 to Mrs. Hirunya Suchinai, Secretary General, Thailand Board of Investment, to support flood victims in the Northeastern provinces. The donation was presented byPiengjai  Keawsuwan, Vice President - Government Relations, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in partnership with the Board of Investment Thailand (BOI).
  • In addition to this donation, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd., will be making a road trip to Sakon Nakhon, using its Navara pickups to deliver 10,000 bottles of water and additional necessities donated by Nissan employees to Friend in Need (Princess-Pa) Foundation and Thai Red Cross at Sakon Nakhon City Hall on 10 -11 August 2017.
  • Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd., along with the Nissan Dealers Centre, has announced the Nissan Flood Relief Programme for customers whose vehicles were affected by the recent flash floods in the North and Northeast regions.The programme gives owners affected by the floods a 30% discount on Nissan spare parts and lubricant at 33 Nissan dealer outles across 15 affected provinces from now until 31 October 2017.
