Employee Service Awards Ceremony Recognizes a Combined 2,000 Years of Service to 252 long-service employees and 41 retirees
On 8 December 2017, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. honored 252 long service employees who achieved between 10 and 40 years of honorable service to NMT, along with 41 retirees and their family members, at KM 22 auditorium.
This years’ Service Awards ceremony honored 252 employees with a combined total of 2,000 years of service to NMT. In his opening remarks, President Antoine Barthes thanked all awardees for their long and loyal service and noted that those leaving would be missed but would forever have a place in Nissan history.
“The true strength of a company and employee loyalty is reflected in the tenure of its employees. Today we saw just how strong Nissan is based on the loyalty of its employees,” Barthes said.
After opening remarks, President Barthes and other Vice Presidents, handed “Wai” to each honoree and presented each recognized employee in attendance with a certificate of service and a gift.
We are especially proud to recognize our Jumpol Hirunsook on attaining 40 years of service. Jumpol started his career at Nissan in October 1977 and currently works as facility management manager.
Honesty, capacity and hard work are the principle of his 40 years working with Nissan: “we work together in an organization and, as such, we help each other as a team. Nissan is imprinted in my DNA, having not just helped me build my family and the future of my family members, but giving me opportunities to learn and work with Japanese and other cross culture colleagues,”Jumpol said after the award ceremony.
Following the award presentations, the group adjourned for picture taking and lunch. Please join us in congratulating and thanking all of this year’s Employee Service Awards recipients for their dedication to the company.
