Nissan congratulates Angel Way’s Chairman on receiving the honorable title of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite
BANGKOK, (July 25, 2018) – Recently, Nissan Motor Thailand share heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Kobchai Jitsakula, Chairman, Angelway Co.,Ltd on the occasion of receiving the prestigious title of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite, per decree of the French President.
The award, celebrated at the French Ambassador Residence, is made in recognition of his support of French culture and art in Thailand.
Dr. Kobchai had established Alliance Francaise in Chiang Rai in 1995, giving the local in Chiang Rai and Payao an access to French language and culture without having to travel to Chaing Mai and Bangkok.
He also dedicated himself to CSR activities through collaboration between Alliance Française and Angelway Co.,Ltd which is owned by Dr. Kobchai.

He has greatly facilitated the opening of this Alliance and has given financial as well as logistic support to maintain and develop its performance in Chiang Rai. His patronage has largely contributed to the promotion of the French language and culture in the Northern part of Thailand. His valuable assistance has enriched and enforced our mission of cooperation in Thailand as a whole. I feel honored and delighted to have conferred to Dr. Kobchai Jitsakula the insignia of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite (Knight in the National Oder of Merit).”
