Wanchai Boonchan, Village Head of Sisa Chorakhe Yai Community, receive the donated toys, stationary sets, bicycles, and gifts from Nissan on the occasion of Children’s Day 2022, from Nissan in Thailand represented by Akkarapol Kaewpinit, Nissan Thailand’s Managing Director for Production and Nissan Thailand Executives.

Bangkok, Thailand (13 January 2022) – Nissan Thailand supported Children's Day, to help build positive futures for children, families and communities living in Sisa Chorakhe Yai subdistrict, located next to Nissan’s manufacturing facilities in Samut Prakan.

The Children's Day activity has been organized for five years consecutively by Nissan Thailand at Phichit Island Village, within Sisa Chorakhe Yai subdistrict. This activity reinforces the company's commitment to conducting business with social responsibility, providing support and education for the community’ children and working closely with community leaders.

This year, Nissan donated Nissan’s famous Nissan LEAF electric vehicle (EV) toy model, as a way to represent the future of mobility to the youth who are the future of the nation. At the event, Children and people in the community could learn about automotive innovations like EVs that can help reduce pollution and follow Thailand Government’s future direction towards electric vehicles. The children also enjoyed  snacks, toys and gifts from Nissan as the event was held in accordance with the guidelines for measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections.
