The Nissan Energy Share concept is the transfer of electricity between electric cars and homes, office building and grid network. The Nissan LEAF, as the world's first mass-market all-electric vehicle, and one of the only EVs sold in Thailand, that comes with bidirectional charging capability which has been a standard feature on the vehicle since its introduction in 2010. Power can also be transferred back to the grid via V2G (V2G - Vehicle-to-Grid) technology, and electricity can be shared within households or small businesses through V-to-H (V2H - Vehicle-to-Home) technology to save electricity costs or as an alternative energy during power outages or emergencies. It is another way to contribute to building energy sustainability for the society.
