Caravan drive activity showcases how Nissan Terra customers can Go Anywhere
Customers experience first-hand how “Life Lives Outside” on the excursion to Kanchanaburi province
Bangkok, Thailand – Nissan in Thailand recently hosted a group of excited all-new Nissan Terra owners on a trip from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi to showcase the on-road and off-road capabilities of the vehicle.
The all-new Terra, a frame-based Intelligent SUV, combines best-in-class engine performance with a spacious 7-seat interior and advanced Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, allowing customers to take it anywhere with confidence.
“Our valued customers are at the heart of everything we at Nissan do, and we wanted to share the enthusiasm of some Nissan Terra owners in their new vehicles, as well as show them how Nissan Intelligent Mobility is helping transform the way they live and drive, allowing them to Go Anywhere,” said Sureetip La-Ongthong Chomthongdee, vice president for marketing at Nissan Thailand.
“The all-new Terra is the perfect vehicle for modern families looking to experience new and exciting journeys that can go anywhere together We wanted to use this trip to show them how they can create memorable experiences using the many features of this new premium SUV,” she added.
The “Terra caravan” covered mopre than 600 kilometers, travelling from Bangkok to Thong Pha Phum, including showcasing its off-road capabilities in several national parks. Participating families also visited the famed 3D Tunnel - 147 kilometers from Kanchanaburi province.
“The all-new Terra offers the freedom to drive on any road and in any weather conditions. It is tough, rugged, and built for all challenges with a thoroughly modern design and level of comfort, plus advanced technologies that appeal to everyone,” La-Ongthong said.
The all-new Terra has more than 60 years of SUV heritage in its DNA. In Thailand, it comes with a new 2.3-liter twin-turbo diesel engine, YS23DDTT, with a 7-speed automatic transmission. It has the best acceleration performance in its class, ensuring a smooth yet powerful drive, with 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.
The caravan routing really showcased the many Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies, including Nissan’s Smart Rear View Mirror and Blind Spot Warning (BSW). The intelligent frame-based SUV also features advanced technologies for safer and more confident driving, with Intelligent Around View Monitor (iAVM) with Moving Object Detection (MOD) providing unobstructed views from a rear-mounted camera and ensuring maximum comfort and safety for all vehicle occupants.
