BANGKOK, Thailand (November 21, 2017) – Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. will showcase the new LEAF electric vehicle for the first time in Thailand, along with presenting Nissan’s advanced e-POWER technology at the 34th Thailand International Motor Expo 2017 from 30 November – 11 December 2017, Booth A12, Challenger Hall 1, Impact Muang Thong Thani.

In addition, the new Nissan NAVARA 2018 and a lineup of nine cars, all with special offers, will be available.

“People today are more concerned than ever with climate change and global warming. Nissan is very much aware of this global issue, and the development of the Nissan LEAF is very much a part of the solution to this,” said Mr. Peter Galli, Vice President Communications, Nissan Motor (Thailand) Co., Ltd. “The Nissan LEAF, running totally on electricity, with zero emissions, is clearly one of the answers to this problem, and is the leader in this automotive industry revolution. On this special occasion, we will be showcasing the new Nissan LEAF here in Thailand for the first time, at the 34th Thailand International Motor Expo 2017,” Galli said.

Inside the Nissan booth, visitors will have the chance to take a close look at this new Nissan LEAF, the worldwide market leader and the best-selling electric car with more than 291,000 units sold since its original introduction. The Nissan LEAF now raises the bar even higher for electric vehicles and sets a new standard for this growing market by offering customers highly advanced technologies, and a striking new design.

Another first in class for Nissan and a show highlight is the new NAVARA 2018, which comes with added features including an Intelligent Around View Monitor (AVM) - the first in its class to offer this feature. This new NAVARA also continues the legacy of offering  outstanding qualities including its renowned high durability and sophisticated interior designed for ever more passenger comfort

Nissan will also be bringing its e-POWER technology to the Motor Expo, featuring a full electric-motor drive that uses a small gasoline engine to charge the high-output battery when necessary. It eliminates the need for an external charger while offering the same high-output. This is an excellent example of Nissan Intelligent Mobility, the company’s dynamic approach to changing the way cars are driven, powered, and integrated into society.

“We are so proud to be able to showcase how Nissan brings ‘Innovation that Excites’ to life and our commitment to putting customers at the heart of everything we do,” Peter Galli said. “Customers will see this through our new LEAF, the icon of Nissan Intelligent Mobility (NIM), as well as our e-POWER technology, and the new Nissan NAVARA 2018, along with a range of not-to-be-missed promotions for our valued customers. This is certainly an excellent time to seriously take a look at all Nissan has to offer
