BANGKOK, Thailand (June 9, 2021) - Nissan Thailand has expanded its 'CARE FOR YOU - Nissan Next Fight' CSR campaign by providing three Nissan Terra to Bangkok’s Health Department, most suitable for health care personnel to carry out urgent COVID-19 activities. The vehicles will help medical officials proactively screen and mass-test the public and provide COVID-19 vaccinations in Bangkok and nearby areas for 90 days.
"With the COVID-19 pandemic in the Bangkok and nearby provinces, Nissan is concerned and believes that we can get through this situation if we work together. We therefore are providing cooperation and support to front-line government medical personnel teams, with our vehicles. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19 for Thai society, they will be able to carry out proactive patient screening and provide COVID-19 vaccinations in at-risk areas in Bangkok, Samut Prakan and adjacent provinces,” said Masao Tsutsumi, Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Nissan Thailand. “Nissan is also strictly following key preventive instructions for Covid-19 at Nissan showrooms and service centers across the country, including systematic disinfection.”
