Focus on customers sees Nissan’s rank fourth in J.D. Power 2018 Thailand Customer Service Index
BANGKOK, Thailand (5 November, 2018) - Nissan Motor Thailand recently celebrated Mega Automobile Tiwanon Co., Ltd. as its ‘Best of the Best Dealer’ in Thailand.
The award, presented at an event in Bangkok, recognizes the Nissan Thailand dealer who has demonstrated outstanding performance in terms of sales, market share, quality and service standards in recognition of 2017 fiscal year results.
It also underscores the close strategic partnership between Nissan and its dealer partners to execute against the vision and strategy of Nissan’s midterm plan, M.O.V.E. 2022. This is the company’s roadmap to further grow its market share, improve its customer satisfaction ranking and further leverage the benefits of its alliance with Renault and Mitsubishi.
“The Best of the Best Dealer award is the highest recognition that a dealer can receive and only goes to those with the most exemplary performance in all aspects of dealer operations, including sales, aftersales service, showroom management and customer relations management,” said Antoine Barthes, president of Nissan Motor Thailand. “This is part of a global program that recognizes the best of the best in each country, and I am proud to recognize the superb performance by Mega Automobile Tiwanon that resulted in this award.”
The commitment and trust of its dealer network has always been a critical factor in Nissan’s success, Barthes said, adding that the company continues to focus on raising the quality and standard bars to give first-class service to its customers.
“As a result of our ongoing close collaboration with dealers through motivation programs and enhanced dealer staff training, we are thrilled that in the J.D. Power 2018 Thailand Customer Service Index (CSI) Study, Nissan significantly improved its ranking to fourth and scored 827 out of 1000 points. This shows how our focus on putting customers at the heart of everything we do is paying off,” he added.
Mungkorn Mungkornpanich, managing director of Mega Automobile Tiwanon, said the award recognized its consistent dedication to customers and great team work. “We are working closely with Nissan to continue investing in developing our people to exceed our customer expectations in all areas; from sales representatives and technicians to after sales service representatives. We are proud to be a part of the Nissan family and for this recognition,” he said.

Nissan has been working closely with its dealer network to grow its presence in Thailand and provide the best customer service through dealer performance improvement and dealer investment in all areas of the business. These investments include the launch of the Nissan Retail Environmental Design Initiative (NREDI) concept showroom, which represents the company’s commitment to providing customers with globally consistent high quality dealership experiences that exceed their expectations.
